We had a great time with Jennifer and Steve. They are an awesome couple and the wedding was absolutely beautiful on the Terrace at Quail Creek Golf Resort in Hartselle! Here are some images from their wedding:

The weather was perfect for an April wedding and the venue at Quail Creek Resort couldn’t have been more beautiful. We had plenty of fun with the bride, groom, wedding party and families and took lots of photographs that the wedding couple will enjoy for a lifetime!

Don’t forget to backup your digital photos!

With the popularity of the digital camera and memory cards and digital storage for your computer becoming more affordable, we are all collecting lots of digital photos. We have all known many people who have lost everything on their computer due to a crash. If a picture is important enough for you to take, it is important enough to preserve. Some people use an external hard drive for backup. This is a good next step, but to be safe it is always important to go to the next step and create a CD or DVD for your backup and keep them in a safe place. As you make your backup, there is usually a “verify” option on your options – be sure to check this box – by doing this, your computer will go through and check all your data against any burn errors – then always physically check the CD or DVD after it is created to make sure that it burned correctly and all of your data is on it. The next time you have computer problems, you will be so glad that you have your backups. Dona

Don’t Forget to Print Your Favorite Photos!

Many people these days are having so much fun with their digital camera that they are taking lots of pictures. Everyone is enjoying all of the photos by viewing them on their computers, using favorites as screensavers, desktops, emailing them to family and friends and sharing them on social media such as Facebook. Very few people are actually printing photos these days. What’s going to happen years from now when our ancestors want to see who we are and what we look like? There will no longer be any photo albums for them to see. Start now and pick out your favorites from each set of photos that you take and print them. We’ll talk more about this in future blogs. Dona

Take Lots of Photos in 2012!

Many people do not realize the value of taking their own pictures of their family all during the year. There are so many personal special moments to enjoy. There are special times throughout your life that you will want a professional photographer to capture such as your wedding, the birth and milestone birthdays, your child’s senior portraits, etc. As a professional photographer, I encourage you to take lots of photos with your digital camera as you enjoy special moments of your life and don’t forget to call us when you have a milestone that needs to be captured by a professional. You don’t want to look back on your life & not have lots of photos to remind you of every special moment!
